Creative Assembly reveals Total War: Warhammer II’s Curse of the Vampire Coast DLC

Creative Assembly has officially unveiled their next DLC for Total War: Warhammer II, Curse of the Vampire Coast, which adds four new Legendary Lords to the game alongside a new lore of magic, a unique unit roster and a new faction to sit within the Warhammer II world map.

The Vampire Coast faction is what you get when you combine a pirate state with necromancy and vampirism, with undead legion press-ganged into service alongside ship-like construction, horrific eldritch-style creatures and units that are similar to the Vampire Counts faction of the Old World.

In this DLC, Legendary Lords, Captains of the Vampire Cost, players must fight to become the most fearsome pirate in the world’s seas, hoping to gain control of the great Merwyrm Amanar by acquiring the pieces of an ancient sea shanty and the fearsome Star-Metal Harpoon” to complete the task.

It was the undying lord Luthor Harkon that laid claim to a stretch of Lustria’s east coast. Ever since, it has been a domain where the dead stir, leading expeditions into the jungle interior or setting sail across the Great Ocean to commit wanton acts of piracy. But the insane Arch-Commodore Harkon is not the only unliving admiral who takes to the seas with pistol-armed crews of zombies, vampiric depth guard, syreens and mournguls… there are other pirate lords who command dreadfleets of their own, packed to the gunwales with crews press-ganged into eternal service…

Total War Warhammer II’s Curse of the Vampire Coast DLC will release on November 8th on PC. Those who pre-order this DLC will receive a 10% discount on Steam, making the DLC £12.59 in the UK.
