Crysis Remastered has been updated to deliver official PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S support, allowing modern systems to provide Crysis’ console players with a 60 FPS gameplay experience for the first time.

These new console-focused patches for Crysis Remastered also bring Crysis’ Ascension level to the PlayStation and Xbox versions of Crysis Remastered, a first for console fans. The game’s latest updates also provide console gamers with a large number of bug fixes and new optimisations.

On PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Crysis Remastered now features free distinct gameplay modes, offering gamers a 1080p 60 FPS performance mode on all next-generation consoles and Quality and Ray Tracing modes with system-specific settings. Crysis Remastered’s a Quality mode runs at 1800p 60 FPS on PlayStation 5, 2160p 60 FPS on Xbox Series X and 2160p 30 FPS on Xbox Series S. In Ray Tracing mode, the PlayStation 5 runs at 1440p 60 FPS, the Xbox Series X runs at 1440p 60 FPS and the Xbox Series S runs at 1080p 30 FPS.

For last-generation systems, Crysis Remastered’s latest update promises performance improvements on all last-generation PlayStation and Xbox systems and a “Classic Nanosuit menu”.

On consoles, Crysis Remastered now looks and runs better than ever. Better still, the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game now feature a new level and a lot fewer bugs. If you are a console gamer, now is a great time to play Crysis.
