Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed until September

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077, their upcoming open-world RPG, has been delayed by five months, revealing a new release date of September 17th, 2020.

Cyberpunk 2077 was initially due to release on April 16th on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, bringing CD Projekt Red’s RPG crafting and graphics talents to new heights within the universe of the tabletop RPG Cyberpunk 2020.

CD Projekt Red had confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 is content complete and playable, but that there is still work to be done to optimise and polish the game before it releases. Cyberpunk 2077’s postponed launch will allow the game’s developers to ship the game in a better state, which is ultimately good news for gamers.

Cyberpunk 2077’s new release date is September 17th 2020.
