Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a new update to celebrate Edgerunners 2’s release

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has arrived on Netflix, and to celebrate, CD Projekt Red has unveiled a new update for Cyberpunk 2077. Update 2.5 for Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive on October 22nd, and CD Projekt Red will host a “REDstream” event tomorrow, October 21st, to showcase the update.

This new update will give gamers another opportunity to dive into Night City and give Cyberpunk newcomers more reasons to enter for the first time. CD Projekt Red says that the update will include content that is “inspired by Edgerunners 2”. The company says that their update will include “new features” for the game. Furthermore, the company has stated that they “we’re talking cyberware” on tomorrow’s REDstream.

Sadly, CD Projekt Red has not unveiled full details about this week’s update. You will have to wait for tomorrow’s REDstream or Update 2.5’s release notes to see exactly what’s coming. In the meantime, you can stream Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 on Netflix. The entire series is now available to binge, giving Cyberpunk fans plenty to watch while they wait for Update 2.5.
