Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project is now in development

Cyberpunk 2077 will soon look better than ever on PC

Halk Hogan, the modder behind The Witcher 3's must-have HD Reworked Project mod is moving to the world of Cyberpunk 2077, announcing that the Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project is now in development. This mod will bring improved textures to Cyberpunk 2077, enhancing the game's visuals by replacing the game's lower quality assets with something that's more detailed.

Below we have the first comparison video that showcases this mod in action, highlighting how many of Cyberpunk 2077's textures are low quality in nature, and how Halk Hogan's mod delivers visual improvements to the game without changing the game's overall look and art style.

While the Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project has no firm release date, it is said to be "coming soon", which means that we should expect to hear more about this mod over the coming weeks and months.

The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project remains in development and Halk Hogan is currently working on a new "NextGen Edition" version of the mod that will enhance the game's visuals beyond what is available with the game's current-generation PC/PlayStation5/Xbox Series X/S versions. This mod was so popular that CD Projekt Red made version 12.0 of the mod an official part of The Witcher 3's current-gen update for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Cool, If The Witcher 3's version is anything to go by we should hopefully get its near final form in around 7-8 years Quote
