Days Gone is coming to PC this Spring and here’s what you need to run it!

Sony’s Days Gone has been listed on Steam, confirming that the game will be releasing this Spring on PC. At this time, it is unknown whether or not Days Gone will appear on other PC storefronts, such as the Epic Games Store or GOG. 

On PC, Sony has confirmed that Days Gone will feature ultra-wide monitor support, an unlocked framerate option and improved graphics over the game’s PlayStation 4 versions, offering players higher level of detail settings, field of view options and increased foliage draw distances. 

The Steam/PC version of Days Gone will use the DirectX 11 API and be built for Windows 10 based systems. While HDD storage and 8GB of system memory will be enough to play the game, Sony has recommended that PC gamers invest in 16GB of system memory and SSD-based storage to play the game with. 

Days Gone will be playable on a lot of older PC systems, with the game’s minimum system requirements listing Intel’s i5-2500K processor and AMD’s FX-6300 CPU, and graphics cards like Nvidia’s GTX 780 and AMD’s R9 290. The game will require 70GB of storage on PC, with Sony recommending SSD-based storage solutions. 

To play Days Gone, Sony’s official hardware recommendations are Intel’s Core i704770K processor or AMD’s Ryzen 5 1500X. 16GB of system memory is also recommended. GPU-wise, Sony has recommended AMD’s Radeon RX 580 8GB and Nvidia’s GTX 1060 6GB, though it is unknown what settings, resolutions or framerates these hardware recommendations target.
