Dead Island: Riptide is now available for free on Steam

Dead Island 2 is coming to Steam, and to celebrate its predecessor will be available for free for a limited time

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Dead Island 2 on Steam, Deep Silver are giving away free copies of Dead Island: Riptide on Steam until February 15th. This giveaway will be for the “Definitive Edition” of the game, which means that the game will come with all of its DLC and improved visuals.

Dead Island is a zombie survival game that can be played in both single player and co-op. The game was developed by Techland, the creators of Dying Light, and Dying Light 2. If you have played either of those games, you should know what to expect from Dead Island. That said, Dead Island isn’t as focused on parkour.

Until February 20th, the Definitive Edition of Dead Island will also be available at a greatly reduced price. The game is currently available for £2.66 on Steam, giving the game an 85% discount.

PC gamers can grab their free copy of Dead Island Riptide on Steam until 4 PM GMT on February 15th.
