Death Stranding is coming to PC on June 2nd – PC features confirmed!

505 Games and Kojima Productions have confirmed that the PC version of Death Stranding will release on June 2nd 2020, with plans to release the game through both Steam and the Epic Games Store. 
   
On PC, Death Stranding will offer PC gamers support for advanced features like “high frame rate” support, a new “photo mode” and support for ultra-wide monitors. On Steam, the game will also include cross-over content from Valve’s Half-Life series. 

On PlayStation 4, Death Stranding was limited to 30FPS framerates, but on PC, much higher framerates will be possible. Sadly, Kijima Productions has not confirmed that Death Stranding will have an unlocked framerate option on PC, but at a minimum, PC gamers can expect a 60 FPS mode. At this time, Death Stranding’s PC system requirements have not been confirmed. 

All copies of the PC version of Death Stranding will also include an expanded edition of the game’s digital soundtrack, which includes “10 unreleased bonus tracks”. PC gamers will also receive the following add-ons, some of which are pre-order exclusive.
