Destiny 2's 1st Expansion has been revealed - Curse of Osiris

Activision has officially revealed Destiny 2's 1st expansion, which will be called Curse of Osiris, which is set to add more story-based content as well as new competitive and co-operative mission types.

This expansion will be one of two Destiny 2 expansions that will be available as part of Destiny 2's Expansion Pass, with this first add-on becoming available on December 5th on all platforms. Expansion II for Destiny 2 is expected to release in Spring 2018, though at this time no details about this expansion have been released.

Destiny fans can look forward to new areas to explore in Mercury, new weapons, armour and gear to earn and more in-game activities to take part in. In short, this expansion provides more variety to the game and effectively gives player more of what the base game has to offer, which is great news for existing fans.

Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian’s journey with all-new story missions and adventures set in a new destination, Mercury. Journey through time and space to learn the secrets of Osiris, avert a dark future, and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student - Ikora Rey. Expansion I: Curse of Osiris arrives December 5. Purchase the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass and get access to both Expansion I and Expansion II.

PC players will be happy to see that this new DLC will be available on PC and consoles at the same time, which means that PC gamers will not need to wait for this additional content any longer than console users.

Good but not worth the price they ask for on the expansions. They basically cost the price of a full game and are relatively short.Quote

As I said on the OC3D FB page, The fact that it's already so close to launch mere weeks after the games initial launch logically says to me that this could have been in the main game, Seperate it though, Call it an expansion and you get extra money, It's greed gone wild.Quote

Thats why I go for the deluxe editions....because you basically only pay around $20CDN for TWO expansion packs. Lot cheaper.Quote

And even that is not worth it.

First Expansion for Destiny one provided if I recall right, 5 new missions which were completed in an hour and story based, and some addition to crucible. Along with a raid.

that's a $15 dlc at most. yet they wanted about 35 for it. Same with all follow ups. Yes the incentive is to buy the season passes, but they are still overpriced. I liked destiny, same with the sequel but god damn, why the greed...Quote
