Disney's Dreamlight Valley is ludicrously easy to run on PC

Disney's Dreamlight Valley could be one of PC's most accessible games

The PC system requirements of modern games are slowly increasing. The new hardware within current-generation consoles like Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 have set a new baseline for gaming hardware, making SSDs a must for most gaming systems while also making support for features like hardware accelerated ray tracing support increasingly desirable. This is not the case for Disney's Dreamlight Valley,

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a social sim game like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, where players can forge friendships with characters from Disney and Pixar as they explore and restore the magic of the Dreamlight Valley. The game launched on PC and consoles in Early Access on September 6th, and on PC the game has crazy low system requirements.

What do you need to run Disney's Dreamlight Valley? Well.. you don't need much. This game has minimum GPU requirements that list Nvidia's 9600 GT, a graphics card that is now 14 years old. If your PC has hardware that is relatively modern you will have now issues running Disney's Dreamlight Valley. To be honest, we are surprised that any modern game can run on a pre DirectX 11 graphics card.

To say the least, meeting Gameloft's minimum PC system requirements for Disney Dreamlight Valley is an easy process. If you are a long-time PC gamer, you may even have enough spare hardware lying around to create a compatible PC. Simply put, this game is almost too easy to run on PC. By today's standards, even the game's recommended hardware requirements are low.

MINIMUM:

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i3-540 or AMD Phenom II X4 940
Memory: 6 GB RAM

RECOMMENDED:
