Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot just received a free “HD” graphics update on PC

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot gets powered up on PC with a new “HD” graphics update

Bandai Namco has just released a new “HD” update for the PC version of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, significantly improving the game’s visuals. While it is somewhat comical to see an “HD” update for a 2020 game, it is nice to see Dragon Ball’s RPG get a visual overhaul.

With this game’s new “HD” update, players can now enjoy improved lighting and shadows. Vegetation has also been improved alongside draw distances. Water bodies and reflections have also been improved. Simply put, this new “HD” update has effectively remastered the game. Not bad for a free update.

Above we have Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s HD update trailer, and below we have a fresh graphical comparison video from ElAnalistaDeBits. These videos showcase the significant visual improvements that Dragon Ball Z Kakarot’s latest update delivers. This update is now available to all PC players on Steam.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was released on PC in 2020. Now, the game looks better than ever.
