Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage is now available

Gamers can now build their Dragon’s Dogma 2 characters ahead of launch

Capcom has launched a “Character Creator and Storage” tool for Dragon’s Dogma 2, which is launching on March 22nd on PC and consoles. This tool allows gamers to create their “Arisen” character and their primary champion/Pawn. This will allow gamers to jump straight into the game when it launches.

Sadly, Capcom’s tool is just a character creator. It offers gamers no demo content or PC benchmark to try out. While it is nice to be able to build our characters early, it would also have been nice to at least experience some gameplay. Capcom’s “Character Creator and Storage” is currently available to download on Steam for PC games and on the PlayStation/Xbox storefronts on consoles.

To create Dragon’s Dogma 2, Capcom are utilising the company’s RE Engine. Devil May Cry 5, Monster Hunter Rise, and all recent Resident Evil games use this engine to great effect, and so far, Capcom’s new RPG looks great.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 PC System Requirements

Below are the PC system requirements for Dragon’s Dogma 2. Capcom has provided performance estimations for their listed hardware configurations. The good news is that the PC system requirements for Capcom’s new RPG are modest by today’s standard, both in terms of CPU performance and GPU performance.

• Processor: Intel Core i5 10600 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
• Memory: 16 GB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT with 8GB VRAM
• DirectX: Version 12
• Network: Broadband Internet connection
• Additional Notes: Estimated performance: 1080p/30fps. Framerate might drop in graphics-intensive scenes. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6800 required to support ray tracing.
