EA package confirms that “Battlefield 6” is in the works

It looks like EA’s next Battlefield game will be unveiled soon, and it will be called “Battlefield 6.” A YouTuber/Streamer called @DooM49 (as archived by Dangerman1337 Reddit) has confirmed that they have been sent a “massive Battlefield 6 case” by EA. The YouTuber quickly deleted this post after discovering that they had posted about the box too early. Thankfully, gamers were able to screenshot this post before it was deleted.

Not only does this case confirm the name of EA’s next Battlefield game, but it also suggests that the game will likely be unveiled soon. After all, why would a streamer get a case like this if the game wasn’t being revealed soon?

Unfortunately, little is currently known about this new Battlefield game. Will it feature a campaign? Will it be multiplayer-only? What setting will the game use? Modern Era, Future Era, WWII, WWI, the Cold War? Something in-between perhaps?

EA has confirmed that its next Battlefield game will be released during the current fiscal year. That means that the game will be released before March 31st 2026. That makes it probable that the game will be released this year in October or November. That’s typically the release timeframe of a Battlefield series game.
