Elden Ring Nightreign now has a release date
Elden Ring Nightreign is launching on May 30th
Bandai Namco and From Software have announced that Elden Ring Nightreign will be coming to PC and consoles on May 30th 2025. This release date was revealed as part of the game’s new “pre-order trailer” which is available to view below.
Nightreign is a standalone title that is in a parallel universe, making it an Elden Ring spin-off, not a sequel. Unlike Elden Ring, players can choose from one of eight set characters. Each of these characters is powerful and unique. This limits the ability of players to create custom character builds but allows From Software to focus on specific playstyles.
Nightreign is intended for co-op play. Three players can join forces to battle the gameâs âNightlord.â The game takes place over three in-game nights, with the map changing each day. Players must explore the map and combat mighty foes to become stronger, preparing for the upcoming battle with the Nightlord.
Based on what From Software has revealed, Nightreign sounds like a rogue-like game based on Elden Ring’s gameplay. An interesting idea. Again, Nightreign is not a sequel; itâs a standalone game with its own story.
Bandai Namco and From Software have confirmed that Nightreign will launch in 2025 on PC and consoles. The game will be available on PC through Steam. The game will also be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series consoles.
