Epic Games Store Teases Mystery Free Game Event

Are Epic Games preparing for another “15 Days of Free Games” event?

This week, two free games are available though the Epic Games Store. These games are GigaBash and Predecessor. Both of these games will be available for free until December 13th, after which a “Mystery Game” will be available on the Epic Games Store.

Since the store’s launch, the Epic Games Store have had a major free games promotion to celebrate the holidays. Last year, Epic Games had their “15 Days of Free Games” promotion. This promotion saw Epic Games give away titles like Alien: Isolation, Inside, Jurassic World Evolution, and more for free to PC gamers. This year, Epic Games could be planning a similar promotion.

Typically, Epic Games gives away free games every day for around two weeks at this time of year. My guess is that Epic Games will give away a free game every day from December 13th until January 1st. After each free game is revealed, Epic Games will release a teaser for their next mystery free game. This creates a fun guessing game for Epic Games Store users.
