Fallout 76’s B.E.T.A starts next month – Here are the release dates
Access to the B.E.T.A will be given to those who pre-order Fallout 76, with the game being accessible on Bethesda.net exclusively on the PC platform. Xbox One will be the first platform with access to Fallout 76’s B.E.T.A, starting on October 23rd, with gamers on both PC and PS4 gaining access on October 30th.Â
Strangely, Bethesda doesn’t plan to keep their B.E.T.A version of Fallout 76 online for long, with access being available for between 4-8 hours on any given day, which depending on your time zone may be during the sleepy time of day. This downtime will provide Bethesda plenty of time to tune and adjust Fallout 76 before it launches on November 14th.  Â
Bethesda plans to remind their fanbase when Fallout 76’s beta is accessible using their forums and social media profiles. All B.E.T.A players will require a free Bethesda.net account to play the game.Â
Weâre excited to announce that our B.E.T.A. (Break-It Early Test Application) will arrive first on Xbox
One on Tuesday, October 23, and one week later for PlayStation 4 and PC players on Tuesday, October 30.During the B.E.T.A. one of our primary goals is to stress test and break the game. As such, the servers will not be running 24/7; instead, theyâll be online during targeted timeframes so we can get as many people as possible playing at the same time. Why? Because thatâs the best way to put all our systems to the test and see how they respond. On any given day the game might be up for anywhere between four to eight hours. Focusing as many players as we can into these windows is our prime objective. Then weâll fix what we need to fix and do it again and again from the start of B.E.T.A. until a few days before launch. Weâll give you as much heads up as possible because we need you to log in during these times and play the game. Weâll also keep you posted through our official @Fallout and @bethesdastudios on Twitter as well as the Bethesda.net forums and our Bethesda.net Status Page to learn when servers will be online. Â
