Farming Simulator 25 has become Steam’s latest smash hit!

Farming Simulator 25 peaks at over 125,000 concurrent PC players on day-1

Farming Simulator 25 is now available on PC and consoles, and it has already proved to be a major hit on Steam. On Day 1, the game’s concurrent player peak was 126,761 players on Steam, smashing the previous game’s record. That number doesn’t include players on consoles or other PC gaming storefronts.

The Farming Simulator series has been a popular PC series for many years now. That said, the transition from one game to another always presents an opportunity for the series’ playerbase to split or decline. Thankfully, at least for Giants Software, Farming Simulator 25’s release has been a success, with their new iterations added features and visual improvements doing enough to draw fans into their latest instalment.

With Giants Engine 10, Farming Simulator 25 features improved visuals and physics. Furthermore, new quality-of-life features have made the game more beginner-friendly. Additionally, the new Asian Farming styles, weather systems, and ground deformation give existing fans of the series something new to try out. If you are interested in Farming Sim, this new entry has something for you.

While its new iteration has had a hugely successful launch, its predecessor still has a large playerbase. Yesterday, over 24,000 gamers were playing the game’s predecessor. A lot of gamers have not moved to the latest version of Farming Simulator. However, this is something that will likely be addressed when the new version becomes available at a discounted price.
