Final Fantasy VII Remake’s latest trailer had its “Gameplay captured on PC”
That’s right, Final Fantasy VII Remake’s latest trailer uses PC footage, adding to the pile more evidence of a planned PC release for the game. We already know that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be exclusive to PlayStation until April 10th 2021, a factor which already makes a multi-platform release for the game a certainty.Â
While a PC release for Final Fantasy VII Remake has already been hinted at, this is clear proof that a PC version of the game is in the works, adding Final Fantasy VII Remake another addition to the long list of PS4 games that are now coming to PC. Within the next year, PC will see Death Stranding and Horizon: Zero Dawn arrive on PC, and within the past year PC gamers have received ports of Detroit: Become Human, Journey, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and Tetris Effect hit the platform.Â
At this time, it is unknown which platforms will see a release of Final Fantasy VII after PlayStation 4, though Xbox One and PC released seem likely. Final Fantasy VII is likely too demanding for Nintendo’s Switch console, at least without significant graphical downgrades.
