Final Fantasy VII Revelation is coming to PC and consoles on April 8th

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is launching on all platforms on the same day

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII Revelation will come to PC and consoles on April 8th 2027. Unlike prior games in the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, the game won’t launch on PlayStation first. This means all gamers can enjoy Revelations on day 1.

Revelation is the third game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake series and is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC. On PC, the game will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Xbox on PC.

To celebrate today’s announcement, Square Enix has released a new “release date reveal trailer” and a “Combat and Exploration Deep Dive”, giving gamers an in-depth look at the game.

Revelation will be the last full game in the FF7 Remake series, though the game will have two story DLCs. These DLCs are DLC 1: Sephiroth and DLC 2: Vincent & The Turks. These DLCs are due to be released in “Winter 2027 and Spring 2028”.

On Steam, Final Fantasy VII Revelation is available to pre-order for £59.99, with the game’s Premium and Premium Plus Editions costing £85.99 and £94.99, respectively. The game is also available on Steam as part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake Trilogy for £71.99. This lets newcomers access the first two games at an incredibly low price, as the bundle costs only £12 more than the 3rd game alone.
