Final Fantasy XVI’s PC demo finally receives stuttering fix
Stuttering fix finally arrives for Final Fantasy XVI’s PC demo
Square Enix has released their second major update for Final Fantasy XVI’s PC demo version. This update (1.02) claims to have “Fixed” the game’s “Stuttering Issue”, which means that the game should not run much smoother on PC. Square Enix has also confirmed that this fix will be available for the full game at launch.
Other changes made by this update include fixes for graphical settings changes that were not properly being applied. Additionally, a fix for certain game characters not being displayed correctly has also been implemented.
Until now, FF XVI’s PC demo has had a poor reputation. This is mostly due to the demo’s stuttering issues. Now, PC gamers can enjoy the game without this issue. It should also be noted that update 1.01 for the game’s demo improved the quality of DLSS, FSR, and XeSS upscaling.
Final Fantasy XVI will be released on September 17th for PC. It will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game will be available in its base form (without DLC) and as a “Complete Edition”. This Complete Edition will be released with the game’s Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide DLCs.
