For the Emperor! Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s PC system requirements have landed

Saber Interactive’s Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 is coming to PC on September 9th. Today, the game’s PC system requirements have landed. Now, PC gamers know the equipment they will need to fight the Emperor’s foes.
At launch, Space Marine 2 will feature a full length campaign that will be playable in single player or co-op. Additionally, the game will have a co-op “Operations” mode. The game’s primary foes are the deadly Tyranids, though it has already been confirmed that the Thousand Sons traitor Space Marine Legion will also have a role to play.
Based on the game’s below system requirements, Space Marine 2 will be an incredibly scalable release. AMD’s Radeon RX 580 and Nvidia’s GTX 1060 are the game’s minimum supported graphics cards. Both of these GPUs date back to 2016/2017 and target 1080p 30 FPS gameplay at low settings.
At launch, Space Marine 2 will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Space Marine 2 is an AMD sponsored title and will support AMD’s FSR 3.1 upscaling/Frame Generation technology at launch. Space Marine 2 PC system requirements
Like most modern PC games, Space Marine 2 requires SSD storage, 75GB of SSD storage. The game is a DirectX 12 title, and its system requirements for 1080p 60 FPS gameplay are rather high. That said, these requirements are for “Ultra” settings. That means that 60 FPS gameplay should be achievable for lower-end GPUs at High or lower settings.
On PC, we expect Space Marine 2 to feature a built-in benchmarking tool. After all, Saber Interactive’s World War Z featured a benchmarking tool, and it is similar to Space Marine 2 in a lot of ways. Both are co-op shooters with horde-like foes that are sponsored by AMD.
