Forspoken's receiving a free PC demo later today

Forspoken's getting a free PC demo on Steam, the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store

Square Enix and Luminous Productions that Forspoken is getting a free demo on PC, allowing PC gamers to try the new action adventure game before they buy it. The demo is expected to become available at the same time as the full game later today. 

This free demo will be available on all storefronts where Forspoken is available, including Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. Below is what Luminous productions has to say about the game's PC demo. 

    Square Enix and Luminous Productions also released a free playable PC demo (via the STEAM®, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store) today. In the PC demo, players will face-off with a variety of enemies and test their fighting abilities with an extensive arsenal of attack and support magic that will prepare them for the high-octane action they can expect to encounter in the full game.

Forspoken puts players in the shoes of Frey Holland, an ordinary young woman who has been mysteriously transported to Athia, a fantastical land that is devastated by an unknown force known as the Break. Having somehow survived this strange phenomenon and armed with a magical sentient bracelet called 'Cuff', Frey now offers Athia a last beacon of hope and must harness her newfound magical abilities to save Athia and find her way home.

Watched some gameplay, The dialogue is like something that was written by an edgy high schooler emo, The graphics are quite mediocre and the story is bland.

And to think this game has been in conception since around 2012 when the original Luminous engine demo was shown, What a mess.Quote

While they can probably muster some defense on why it has bad dialogue or an average story, Being launched 6 years after FFXV makes it completelly unexcusable to have lighting straight out of Nier Automata in an engine that is proven capable of generating breathtaking graphics, more so when it asks for a GTX 1060 6G for [email protected]

This game's a complete joke, and I would blame Square Enix for that.

-Apparently we're back making blur studios-like trailers for games that end up looking 10 years behind in graphical tecnology when it actually launches.Quote
