Gears of War is reportedly getting the "Master Chief Collection-type treatment" this year

According to the XboxEra podcast's Nick Baker, the Gears of War franchise is due to receive the "Master Chief Collection-type treatment" this year, remastering the classic games for modern console hardware.

For PC gamers, a Gears collection has the potential to finally bring Gears of War 2 and 3 to the platform. Previously, only Gears of War 1 and Gears 4 onwards have been available on PC, preventing PC gamers from enjoying the full franchise.

Currently, Microsoft is expected to showcase their Gears collection on June 12th as part of their Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, their E3-style gaming event. At this time, it is unknown who is developing Microsoft's gears collection, or how this collection will imporve upon the original versions of each original Gears title.

Hopefully they also bring out Judgment, Not the best game in the series but it's still a decent story, I've been wishing for Gears 2, 3 and Judgment on PC for years, Gear 1 Ultimate Edition could do with a polish, Still lots of performance and graphical issues.Quote
