Sony has revealed that Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut on PC

Today, Sony has announced that Ghost of Tsushima is coming to PC. The game is now listed on Steam, and it will be available on PC on May 16th for £49.99.

On PC, Sony has confirmed that their samurai action adventure game will feature an unlocked framerate, ultra-wide 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 resolutions. The game will also support DLSS 3, FSR 3, and XeSS on day-1. A Japanese lip sync option is available for the game’s Japanese voiceovers. Note that Sucker Punch is a American studio.

On the game’s Steam page, Sony has noted that Ghost of Tsushima will have a graphical options that are “tailored to a wide range of hardware”. This includes portable PC gaming handhelds. This means that the game should run well on devices like the ASUS ROG Ally, Steam Deck, and MSI Claw. The game also features DualSense gamepad support. Users of Sony’s controller will be able to enjoy haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Mouse and keyboard controls are also available.

In the late 13th century, the Mongol empire has laid waste to entire nations along their campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is all that stands between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general, Khotun Khan.

As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, courageous samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands resolute. As one of the last surviving members of his clan, Jin is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.

Owners of this game on PC who choose to link their Steam and PlayStation Network accounts will receive two early unlocks. These unlocks include “Archery Master’s Attire”, and “Charm of Canine Recruitment”. Pre-purchasers of the game will receive a additional content. This includes a “New Game+ Horse travel companion”, “Traveller’s Attire”, and “Broken Armour dyes”.
