Goodbye Quarantine – Ubisoft teases Rainbow Six Extraction

Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Quarantine has received a name change, for obvious reasons. Before the game’s E3 2021 gameplay reveal at Ubisoft Forward, the multiplayer co-op shooter has been given a new name; Rainbow Six Extraction.

In recent months, leaked documents have referred to Rainbow Six Quarantine as “Rainbow Six Parasite”, but now Ubisoft has confirmed an alternative title for their next Ubisoft original. Ubisoft has confirmed that the reason for Rainbow Six Quarantine was the result of the ongoing pandemic, which has resulted in Lockdowns and Quarantines across the world.

Rainbow Six Extraction will see players fight against an unknown alien threat, where the aim of all operators being to survive long enough to get extracted. Aside from these details, relatively little is known about Ubisoft’s first-person co-op horror survival game.

At 8 PM BST, Ubisoft plans to host their latest Ubisoft Forward live stream, where gameplay for Rainbow Six Extraction will be showcased. Gameplay for Far Cry 6 is also due to be showcased at the event, as is now content for Ubisoft’s other popular titles.
