Gotham Knight's latest PC patch promises boosted performance and less hitching

Expect Gotham Knights to run better on PC following the game’s latest update

WB Games Montreal has released their first major 2023 update for Gotham Knights, adding fixes for technical issues within the game alongside new optimisations the promise to boost the game’s performance on PC.

For starters, PC gamers have been promised rendering performance improvements, streaming time improvements and fixes for “various GPU and CPU hitches”. All of these changes are designed to get Gotham Knights to run better on PC, enabling smoother framerates with fewer immersion-breaking hitches.

On top of the game’s performance improvements, fixes for multiple crashes have also been implemented, making the game less likely to crash to desktop. While it is a shame that these issues were present within Gotham Knights since the game’s launch in October 2022, it is good to see that WB Games Montreal has worked to address these concerns.

Gotham Knights currently has a “mixed” review rating on Steam, with many of the game’s negative reviews citing frequent crashes as their main problem with the game. Hopefully Gotham Knight’s new PC patch has addressed these concerns. Let’s hope that Gotham Knight doesn’t need another crash fixing patch on PC.
