GSC Game World releases the first part of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Soul

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is due to release sometime in 2021, reviving one of PC gaming’s most famed franchises from over ton years of rest. Until then, GSC Game World wants to keep S.T.A.L.K.E.R fans busy with new content, and this week, the company released the first part of a new comic book called S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Soul.

This comic was created by Alexey Novitsky and will be released in several parts. The first of these parts is called “Marathon” and details how an outsider enters the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

The first issue of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Soul is 30 pages long and is available to read in English and Russian online. The comic is available to read for free, and it is likely that the future issues of the comic will also be available for free online.

If you were looking to read something this weekend, there’s an option for you.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 promised to be the most ambition game from GSC Game World to date, but at this time little is known about the game, or how it will innovate over the game’s predecessor and its two expansions. The game will be built using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4.

Modding tools have been confirmed for the game, which will allow gamers to create new content for the title when it releases, though at this time the game has no confirmed release date. Below is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2’s first screenshot.
