Halo: CE Anniversary is now available on PC

Starting today, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is available on PC, both Steam as a standalone purchase and through Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass for PC service.

This is the second game release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC, offering PC gamers support for 4K Ultra HD resolutions, ultrawide displays, customisable mouse/keyboard controls, FOV options and more. 

Like the game’s Xbox version, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary features the ability to toggle between Halo: Combat Evolved’s original graphics and its Anniversary Edition visuals, which is great news for gamers who prefer Combat Evolved’s original look. PC gamers will also gain access to Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary’s iconic multiplayer mode. 

On PC, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will cost £6.99 in the UK as a standalone purchase or £29.99 as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC, which will include Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4. 

PC gamers should expect Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary to run on relatively low-end PCs, with the game releasing with the following PC system requirements.

Graphics: AMD HD 6850 ; NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 20 GB available space
