Is your PC ready for Sonic Frontiers? Here are the game's PC system requirements
SEGA and Sonic Team have revealed their official PC system requirements for Sonic Frontiers, which will be releasing though Steam on November 8th.
Sonic Frontiers will be the latest 3D Sonic title to use the Hedgehog Engine 2, an engine that is designed to deliver high framerate gaming and high fidelity visuals with modern hardware. On PC, Sonic Frontiers' minimum system requirements target 720p 30 FPS gaming while the game's recommended hardware requirements target 1080p 60 FPS gaming. Higher-end gaming PCs will be required to play Sonic Frontiers at higher framerates or higher resolutions.
Currently, SEGA and Sonic Team appear to have no plans to support DLSS or FidelityFX Super Resolution upscaling in Sonic Frontiers, though it is possible that some form of upscaling will be available within the game at launch.
Below are Sonic Frontiers' PC system requirements, which recommend a Radeon RX Vega 56 or an Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card for 1080p 60 FPS gameplay at high settings.
