Is your PC ready for Hogwarts Legacy?
Hogwarts Legacy is coming to PC and consoles on February 10th 2023, and the game's Steam page has just been updated to include PC system requirements for single-player RPG.
Unlike most games, Hogwarts Legacy has PC system requirements that include resolution, settings, and framerate targets, allowing PC gamers to know whether or not their PCs are ready to deliver smooth 60 FPS gameplay within the game.
Hogwarts Legacy is a DirectX 12 based PC game, and Avalanche Studios recommends that PC gamers play the game using SSD storage. While slower hard disk drives are supported, SSD storage is preferred thanks to their ability to slash loading times and make gameplay more seamless. The game's system requirements also confirm that upscaling will be available within Hogwarts Legacy, though at this time it is unknown what forms of upscaling will be supported.

PC system requirements
While these system requirements are a lot higher than many modern games, it is worth noting that these system requirements target 60 FPS gameplay. For gamers that are willing to tolerate lower framerates, lower end PC hardware will be sufficient to play this game. That said, even this game's minimum system requirements call for upscaling to be used at 1080p.
