Here’s what you need to run Desperados 3 on PC

Desperados 3 is due to release on PC on June 16th, arriving on both Steam and GOG on day 1. For the uninitiated, Desperados 3 is a strategy title from Mimimi Games and THQ Nordic. This tactical stealth game allows players to assume the role of five unique characters within a Wild West setting, each of which has a specialised skill set and exclusive abilities. 

As players move across a variety of western scenarios, players will experience plenty of player choice when tackling the game’s single-player campaign. Players will get to choose between lethal and non-lethal attacks and stealth and guns blazing approaches to the game’s combat. 

The leader of the gang, John Cooper, can quietly take down enemies with his knife, or tackle several opponents with his revolver. Hector is a Strongman who can set a bear trap and tackle opponents in melee with his trusty axe. Hunter McCoy uses lures, knockout gas, poison and a long-range pistol to tackle is enemies and Kate can fool any man with the right outfit and can discretely take down opponents with her hidden gun.  

On PC, gamers can run Desperados 3 on a system with Windows 7, 20GB of storage space and as little as an Intel i3-530 dual-core or an Athlon II X3 460. GPU-wise, the game can run on a GTX 560 or a Radeon HD 5850. Even basic DirectX 11 graphics cards can run this game, making the game extremely easy to run on more modern hardware. 

While the game is easy to run on lower-end hardware, THQ Nordic still recommends processors with four cores, systems running Windows 10, 12GB of system memory and Solid State Storage (for faster loading times). GPU-wise, Nvidia’s GTX 760 and AMD’s RX 7870 are recommended, assuming that they have 3GB of VRAM or more.
