Here’s what you need to run God of War Ragnarok on PC

Is your PC ready for God of War Ragnarok?

God of War Ragnarok is coming to PC on September 19th, launching on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. To prepare for launch, Sony have released their PC system requirements for their mythic adventure. Note that this game will require an insane amount of storage, requiring 190GB of SSD space. For context, God of War weighted in at 70GB on PC. Thankfully, the game’s other hardware requirements are a little more lax.

On PC, Ragnarok will support all major upscaling technologies. This includes AMD’s FSR 3.1 upscaler, Nvidia DLSS 3.7, and XeSS 1.3. Frame Generation will be available through FSR 3.1 and DLSS.

The PC version of Ragnarok is being made by the same team as God of War 2018’s PC release. The game will support ultrawide resolutions, an unlocked framerate, and other advanced features. At launch, the game will feature Ragnarok’s Valhalla DLC and a New Game+ mode.

Sony have released detailed PC system requirements for God of War Ragnarok’s PC version. As a cross-generation PlayStation 4/5 game, it makes sense that the game is highly scalable on PC. Even extremely old graphics cards like Nvidia’s GTX 1060 can run this game. Not bad for a GPU from 2016.

All of the system requirements below are for the game when running at a “native resolution”. This means that the game’s GPU requirements can effectively be lowered if you use a upscaling solution like DLSS, FSR, or XeSS.
