Intel helped develop Marvel’s Avenger’s PC graphical improvements

Crystal Dynamics teamed up with Intel as Marvel’s Avengers’ “exclusive CPU partner” to help optimise the game for PC. These efforts have allowed Crystal Dynamics to offer PC gamers a “truly interactive cinematic experience” by boosting the visuals of Marvel’s Avengers in several key areas.

For starters, PC gamers can enjoy “Reactive Water Simulation” to offer PC users more realistic and vibrant water, “Enhanced Enemy Destruction” to showcase more detailed enemy destruction and “Super Charged Heroic” which generates more destruction effects when an Avenger uses their signature moves.

With these enhanced effects, PC gamers can utilise the strength of modern processors to outpace the visual feats which have been achieved in Marvel’s Avengers console versions. These changes are designed to increase immersion and make use of the additional computational power that the PC platform offers. These new features are optimised for Intel processors, though these features should also be usable on competing CPUs.

The video below showcases the impact of Marvel’s Avengers’ PC exclusive features, which were created in collaboration with Intel.
