Crystal Dynamics teamed up with Intel as Marvel's Avengers' "exclusive CPU partner" to help optimise the game for PC. These efforts have allowed Crystal Dynamics to offer PC gamers a "truly interactive cinematic experience" by boosting the visuals of Marvel's Avengers in several key areas.

For starters, PC gamers can enjoy "Reactive Water Simulation" to offer PC users more realistic and vibrant water, "Enhanced Enemy Destruction" to showcase more detailed enemy destruction and "Super Charged Heroic" which generates more destruction effects when an Avenger uses their signature moves.

With these enhanced effects, PC gamers can utilise the strength of modern processors to outpace the visual feats which have been achieved in Marvel's Avengers console versions. These changes are designed to increase immersion and make use of the additional computational power that the PC platform offers. These new features are optimised for Intel processors, though these features should also be usable on competing CPUs.

The video below showcases the impact of Marvel's Avengers' PC exclusive features, which were created in collaboration with Intel.

Throughout the Marvel’s Avengers development process, Intel and Crystal Dynamics worked closely to perfect the superhero experience for PC gamers and optimize for the best PC gameplay for those playing on Intel Core processors.

As the exclusive CPU partner on Marvel’s Avengers, Intel collaborated with the game’s developers to create detailed visuals and special effects that completely immerse players, giving them a truly interactive cinematic experience.

I wonder if Intel helped to optimise Crystal Dynamics in built Micro Transaction cash grab routines, as well.Quote

It actually could be quite clever and very greedy of intel.

* Helps Crystal Dynamic develop Marvel game to optimise performance for Intel CPU

* Puts Avengers game on the box with no free game
// No payments towards Crystal Dynamic required as there is no included game.

* Reviewers report that AMD performs terrible, but outstanding on Intel

* Customers upgrade their pc with Intel CPU.Quote
