Is your PC ready for Battlefield 6?
EA released finalised PC system requirements for Battlefield 6
Battlefield Studios has officially released its finalised PC system requirements for Battlefield 6, letting PC gamers know exactly what kind of hardware they will need to run the game. The game will feature an uncapped framerate on PC, ultrawide screen support, over 600 customisation options, and support for XeSS 2, DLSS 5, and FSR 4 upscaling at launch.
Note that Battlefield 6’s PC hardware requirements are for the game running at a native resolution. These hardware requirements do not expect gamers to use resolution upscaling or frame generation. Better still, the game will not require top-of-the-line graphics hardware to run at 4K 60+ FPS. Based on our testing of the game’s beta, Battlefield 6 is incredibly well-optimised. Upscaling will make high-resolution gaming more accessible to gamers with lower-end PCs. It isn’t a crutch that’s being used to make the game performant.
Battlefield 6 will run great on PC without upscaling
For 1440p 60 FPS gameplay, graphics cards like Nvidia’s RTX 3060 Ti, AMD’s RX 6700 XT, and Intel’s ARC B580 are recommended. None of these GPUs are high-end by today’s standards, and should be able to run Battlefield 6 at 4K 60+ FPS with upscaling enabled. Note that 4K 60 FPS gameplay is possible at Ultra settings with an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX at launch without upscaling. Not bad for a modern, maxed-out, AAA release.
While this game can be played with an HDD, SSD storage is recommended for optimal performance. This will enable faster loading times. If you want to spend less time waiting and more time playing, an SSD is a must. Note that 90GB of free storage is recommended. However, gamers can expect Battlefield 6’s storage footprint to expand as more maps and content are added to the game.
