Is your PC ready for Beast of Reincarnation?

Game Freak releases PC system requirements for Beast of Reincarnation

Game Freak, yes, the developer behind the Pokémon series, is ready to release its newest game, Beast of Reincarnation. This game is a new action RPG that is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the far future. It has absolutely nothing to do with Pokémon, and even has a PEGI rating of 16. This isn’t a kids’ game.

Beast of Reincarnation’s Steam page has just been updated with more accurate PC system requirements. These detail the hardware needed to run the game at 1080p 40 FPS and 1080p 60 FPS. Beast of Reincarnation will be available on PC and consoles on August 3rd.

Game Freak’s brand-new title: Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, humanity’s only hope lies with Emma, an outcast shunned from society for her affliction, and Koo, the blighted dog. Together, they embark on this expansive adventure in this one-person, one-dog action RPG.

Experience a journey where you feel moments of loneliness, and also the reliability and comfort of your companion. Savor a world of impermanence, where forests suddenly burst forth amidst the wasteland. As Emma and Koo travel through this beautiful yet harsh world, their bond and abilities blossom.

Customize your playstyle with unique skill trees, gear, and spirit stones to survive this beautiful yet brutal world. Define your own playstyle through your preferred loadout, including ranged, stealthy, and aggressive combat.

In this world ravaged by blight…what will you find at the end of your journey?

Beast of Reincarnation’s PC system requirements are low by today’s standards. That said, they rely on DLSS/FSR upscaling to achieve their performance targets. While the game’s minimum GPUs are an AMD RX 580 and Nvidia GTX 1070, both need to use upscaling to achieve 1080p 40 FPS performance levels. If you are a PC gamer that requires 60+ FPS gameplay, you will need higher-end hardware.

Even this game’s recommended hardware requires DLSS or FSR 3 upscaling to achieve 1080p 60 FPS performance levels. Gamers who want to play this game at higher resolutions will need a GPU that’s better than Game Freak’s recommended Nvidia RTX 3060 and AMD RX 6700 XT GPUs. Note that both of these GPUs are 12GB graphics cards. It is currently unclear if this game will have issues running on newer or higher-end 8GB GPUs like Nvidia’s RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 5060.

Storage-wise and RAM-wise, Beast of Reincarnation does not call for much. The game needs 45GB of available storage and 16GB of RAM. That’s not much by today’s standards. 32GB is a common RAM recommendation for modern PC games.
