Is your PC ready for Call of Duty Black Op 6?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is filled with AMD tech on PC

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is coming to PC and consoles on October 25th, with pre-loading starting on October 21st. On PC, the game will be filled with AMD technologies, including FidelifyFX Super Resolution 3.1 (FSR 3.1) upscaling, FSR 3.1 Frame Generation, and AMD Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS). Note that Activision captured footage for this game’s PC trailer (embedded below) on AMD hardware. Clearly, AMD played a role in developing Black Ops 6’s PC version. While unconfirmed, we expect Black Ops 6 to also support Nvidia DLSS and Intel XeSS at launch.

On Steam/Battle.net, Black Ops 6 will be available from 9 pm PT on October 24th. In the UK, this translates to 5 AM on October 25th. Strangely, the game may be available earlier on Xbox and the PC Microsoft Store. Note that Black Ops 6 will be available on PC through Battle.net, Steam, and the Microsoft Store.

Black Ops 6 PC System Requirements

Like other Call of Duty titles, Black Ops 6 is easy to run on PC. The series is designed to run well on a huge range of hardware, including last-generation consoles like PS4 and Xbox One. As such, the game can run well on older gaming PCs, with Nvidia’s 2GB GTX 960 being the game’s oldest supported GPU. However, newer 8GB GPUs like the Radeon RX 6600 XT are recommended.

Note that this game requires 102 GB of SSD storage. However, users are expected to have more SSD space to store future game updates.

Other PC Features

Alongside Treyarch, Beenox developed the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Op 6. As a result, we expect to see similar options and features as other Call of Duty titles. Chiefly, we can expect unlocked framerate support, ultra-wide monitor support, and a huge range of graphical options (500+, according to the trailer below).
