Is your PC ready for Crusader Kings 3? – Can you run it?

Next month will see Crusader Kings 3 release on PC, setting a new baseline for the franchise with a huge map, new game mechanics and the same challenges and intrigue that fans of the franchise love. The game releases on September 1st, and here you will see the PC system specs that you will need to run the game. 

As a franchise, Crusader Kings is about the simulation, not the visuals. While Crusader Kings III will look a lot better than its predecessor, it will not be the most demanding game on the market or boast the highest-end visuals. With this in mind, many PC gamers will be glad to know that Crusader Kings 3’s system requirements are relatively low; at least compared to other modern AAA games. 

Storage-wise, Crusader Kings requires 8GB of storage space, and the game itself requires at least 4GB of system memory, a DirectX 11 graphics card with over 1GB of VRAM and a processor that’s equal to or better than an Intel i5-750, an Intel i3-2120, or an AMD Phenom II 1055T. 

Paradox Interactive Recommends systems with 8GB of system memory, processors that are equal to or more powerful than Intel’s i5-4670K or AMD’s Ryzen 5 2400G and graphics cards like Nvidia’s 4GB GTX 1650. Today, Nvidia’s GTX 1650 is commonplace within entry-level gaming laptops, which is great news for Crusaders Kings fans. 

Anyone with a relatively modern gaming system should be able to run Crusader Kings 3 with ease, making the game incredibly accessible.
