Is your PC ready for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2?

Warhorse Studios reveals Kingdom Come Deliverance 2′ PC system requirements

Earlier this year, Warhorse Studios officially revealed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, a new medieval RPG that promises to be “twice as big” as its predecessor. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is due to release on February 4th 2025, and Warhorse Studios has officially revealed its PC system requirements.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is a continuation of the game’s 2018 original. The game has been crafted to be appealing to newcomers and series veterans alike. However, it remains to be seen how newcomers will be brought up to speed story-wise. Unlike most modern medieval RPGs, Kingdom Come Deliverance II aims for realism. That means no magic, elves, dwarfs or anything non-historical.

Hardware-wise, Kingdom Come 2 appears to be highly scalable on PC. That said, the game’s minimum CPUs are 6-core CPUs, and for 1440p Ultra gameplay, an RTX 4080 is recommended. Scale back to Medium settings at 1080p, and AMD’s RX 6600 XT and Nvidia’s RTX 2060 are recommended.

PC System requirements

For a 1080p 30 FPS experience at low settings, AMD’s Radeon RX 580 and Nvidia’s GTX 1060 6GB are listed as usable GPUs. Unlike most modern PC games, it is recommended that most players of this game have a lot of system memory. While 16GB is the game’s minimum, 24GB or more memory is recommended, with 32GB being recommended for high/ultra settings.

For 1440p 60 FPS gameplay at high settings, Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4070 GPU and AMD’s Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU are recommended. This means that most PC gamers must utilise upscaling solutions like DLSS, XeSS or FSR to achieve 60+ FPS gameplay at 4K.

For gamers who are willing to use this game’s medium settings, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s PC system requirements aren’t overly high. That said, you will need a reasonable beefy system to run this game at 60 FPS. There’s a reason why his game is current-gen only. Furthermore, the game appears to have graphical settings that are made for today’s highest-end PC hardware.

As a new CryEngine title, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will be a technologically interesting release. This is not yet another Unreal Engine 5 title. That alone should give this game a unique look and feel compared to its contemporaries.
