Is your PC ready for The Blood of the Dawnwalker

Here’s what you need to run The Blood of the Dawnwalker on PC

Bandai Namco has unveiled that The Blood of the Dawnwalker is coming to PC and consoles on September 3rd 2026. On PC, the game will be available on Steam, and Rebel Wolves has provided detailed PC system requirements for the game.

The Blood of the Dawnwalker is a new action RPG from several former The Witcher developers. The game is built using Unreal Engine 5 and will support modern upscaling technologies like AMD FSR and Nvidia DLSS. The game will require SSD storage and can run on GPUs with as little as 6GB of VRAM. However, 12GB of VRAM or more is recommended. Note that this game’s PC system requirements do not list support for Frame Generation.

In The Blood of the Dawnwalker, gamers will play as Coen, a young man who has been turned into a Dawnwalker. Players are human by day and vampire by night. Coen has 30 days to save their family, and every quest will see the time tick forward. Gamers must to choose who to help and who to ignore.

PC System Requirements

The Blood of the Dawnwalker is a demanding PC game that requires an Nvidia RTX 5090 for native 4K 60 FPS gameplay at Ultra settings. That said, the game appears to be highly scalable. Furthermore, the game supports modern upscalers like DLSS and FSR.

For 1080p 30 FPS gameplay at low settings, this game will run on GPUs like Nvidia’s GTX 1070, RTX 3050, AMD’s RX Vega 56, and Nvidia’s ARC A580. For native 1080p 60 FPS at high settings, AMD’s RX 6800 XT and Nvidia’s RTX 5060 will get the job done. Strangely, this game’s developers recommend Nvidia’s RTX 5060 despite calling for 12GB of VRAM for these settings.

CPU-wise, the game recommends AMD’s Ryzen 9 7900X and Intel’s Core i5-13600. This suggests that this game can make use of high-core-count CPUs. Typically, modern games recommend AMD 8-core CPUs rather than 12-core CPUs.

The Blood of the Dawnwalker will be available on PC through Steam on September 3rd 2026. Note that the game developers recommend playing this game with a controller.
