Is your PC ready to play STALKER 2?

STALKER 2’s finalised PC system requirements have arrived – You’ll need a beefy PC for high and epic settings!

GSC Game World has released STALKER 2’s finalised PC system requirements, allowing PC gamers to know if their systems are ready for the game’s launch on November 20th.

You will need 160GB of SSD storage to play this new shooter. Additionally, gamers will need at least 16GB of dual-channel memory. While the game’s minimum system requirements are low, it should be noted that these system requirements target 1080p 30 FPS at low settings. Since STALKER is a first-person shooter, 60+ FPS framerates are recommended for a smooth experience. Simply put, while this game is playable on lower-end PCs, higher-end PC hardware is recommended.

For this game’s “Low” settings at 1080p 30 FPS, GPUs like AMD’s RX 580, Nvidia’s GTX 1060, and Intel’s ARC A750 are recommended. CPUs like AMD’s Ryzen 5 1600X and Intel’s i7-7700K are also recommended. However, 8-core (pr better) AMD and Intel CPUs are recommended for higher settings and framerates.

For 1080p 60 FPS gameplay at medium settings, GPUs like Nvidia’s RTX 2070 SUPER, RTX 4060, and AMD’s Radeon RX 5700XT are recommended. Cranking the game up to 1440p high settings will result in higher GPU recommendations, with AMD’s RX 6800 XT, Nvidia’s RTX 4070, and Nvidia’s RTX 3070 Ti being recommended.

For 4K gameplay at 60+ FPS, Nvidia’s RTX 4080 and AMD’s RX 7900 XTX are recommended.

STALKER 2 supports DLSS 3 and FSR 3.1 on PC at launch

STALKER 2 will support AMD’s FSR 3.1 technology and Nvidia DLSS 3 at launch. This will give gamers access to Frame Generation technology and a variety of upscaling options.

Below is some performance data from STALKER 2 for various Nvidia GPUs with 4K maximum settings. This game is expected to run much better with lower graphical settings. As always, Nvidia’s performance data is designed to maximise the performance benefits that are delivered by their DLSS technology.

STALKER 2 will be available on PC on November 20th through PC Game Pass and as a standalone PC title.
