Jurassic World: Evolution receives PC system requirements and a release date

Frontier Developments has revealed Jurassic World: Evolution's official release date for both PC and Xbox One, narrowing down the game's release from Summer 2018 to June 12th.

As the creator of Planet Coaster and the Xbox One/360 exclusive version of Zoo Tycoon, Frontier is no newcomer to the park management genre, making them the ideal creator for the first official Jurassic Park management sim. The game will take place on the legendary Muertes archipelago, the setting of the original film series, with players focusing on developing new technology while keeping their park profitable.

Evolution will also offer several narrative elements, which are designed to expand the Jurassic Park/World Lore, which will feature characters from across the franchise. It is also likely that there will be a free building mode which will be free of a narrative structure.

Place yourself at the heart of the Jurassic franchise and build your own Jurassic World. Bioengineer dinosaurs that think, feel and react intelligently to the world around them and face threats posed by espionage, breakouts and devastating tropical storms in an uncertain world where life always finds a way.

It has been confirmed that Jurassic World Evolution will make use of Denovo's anti-tamper tech, with Frontier releasing the following PC system requirements on Steam. These system requirements are subject to change as the game's development continues.

MINIMUM:

I have easily gone over 1000 hours in JP:Operation Genesis, I can see the same happening here if they do a good enough job, Hopefully they'll support Ultrawide properly too instead of just stretching the sides like so many others do.Quote
