Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been delayed until 2025

Expect to see a lot of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 at Gamescom 2024

Earlier this year, Warhorse Studios officially revealed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, a new medieval RPG that promises to be “twice as big” as its predecessor. When Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 was revealed, the game has a 2024 release date, now, the game has been delayed until February 11th 2025.

This month, fans of Kingdom Come will be able enjoy a lot of new reveals from Gamescom 2024. This will include a 20+ minute gameplay showcase, and press previews for the game. The game’s Collectors Edition will also be revealed at the event.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is a continuation of the game’s 2018 original, though the game has been crafted to be appealing to newcomers and series veterans alike. Unlike most modern medieval RPGs, Kingdom Come Deliverance II aims for realism. That mean no magic, elves, dwarfs or anything non-historical.

With this sequel, Warhorse Studios aims to create the game they wanted the original to be. Now Warhorse has the experience and resources to make their dreams come true. With their first game they proved that a realistic historical RPG could be successful. Now they are taking their concept to another level.

At launch, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
