Lego Worlds launching on Steam Early Access Today

Minecraft has been named 'virtual Lego' more than once. At the time of writing, almost 20 million people have bought the game on PC, making it the most popular virtual box of bricks ever created. Anyway, as I said, Minecraft has been associated with Lego before, but today, TT Games takes it to a whole new level. They're making a Lego Minecraft-clone, which is basically a Virtual Lego-clone clone with Lego. Without further ado, let's take a look.

Lego Worlds is a sandbox game with procedurally generated worlds in which players can use the 'multi-tool' to "shape environments and alter any World to your liking: raise the terrain to create vast mountain ranges, or enter the Brick-by-Brick editor to build anything you can imagine. Save your creations to build with them again," as stated on the game's Steam page. You can populate your world with Lego NPCs, which is a cool feature. The game also has drivable vehicles.

  • • Race, soar, zoom, and ride on a variety of vehicles and creatures from diggers and helicopters to horses and dragons
  •

Create and Customize your own LEGO World

  • • Build any world you can imagine using the brick-by-brick editor tool and prefabricated LEGO structures
  • • Modify terrain quickly and easily with the multi-tool.
  • • Customize your characters in a wide variety of outfits and options.
  • • Play with a select number of real-life LEGO sets, taken from the Classic and current LEGO themes! • Export your creations and save them to use again.
