Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater release date leaks
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater to launch on August 28th
A new gameplay trailer for Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has leaked through the game’s PlayStation Network listing. It has revealed the official release date for the highly anticipated remake, confirming it as August 28th 2025.
Metal Gear Solid: Delta Snake Eater is a faithful recreation of the original PS2-era game. The game will feature the same core game design and original story, but will feature enhanced gameplay and visuals. Since the game is using Unreal Engine 5, we can assume that Konami’s Fox Engine is no longer in development. Konami used their Fox engine to create Metal Gear Solid 5, and Metal Gear Survive.
In Snake Eater, players will be tasked with outsmarting their enemies. Gamers will need to use camouflage and the terrain to their advantage. Close quarters combat, interrogation, climbing, hunting, and injury treatment are all elements of the game, and stealth is paramount. If players are not careful, natural predators and other threads can quickly overwhelm them.
The game will be coming to PC through Steam, and to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. There are currently no plans to bring Snake Eaterâs remake to other platforms. No last-generation console versions of the game are planned.
