Microsoft promises 120FPS upgrades for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox Series X/S
This upgrade will be free to existing owners of the collection and will be available as part of Xbox Game Pass, making this new edition of Halo: The Master Chief Collection incredibly accessible to all Xbox Series X/S owners.Â
In addition to 120FPS support and up to 4K resolutions, the game will also feature “split-screen improvements” and support for cross-gen play. FOV adjustment will also be part of the package, bringing the collections PC features to consoles for the first time. Â
Halo: The Master Chief Collection contains Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach and Halo 4. Strangely, this Xbox Series X/S release of Halo doesn’t coincide with the launch of Xbox Series X/S on November 12th.Â
