Microsoft delays the release of Windows 10's Spring Creators Update

Microsoft has delayed the release of Windows 10's next major update after Microsoft uncovered a "blocking bug" within the OS over the weekend.

This bug is significant enough for Microsoft to delay the release of the OS, which was expected to release on April 10th. Microsoft will start deploying Windows 10's Spring Creators Update (version 1803) after they fix the bug, which will likely delay the release of the OS by a few weeks.

Windows 10's Spring Creators Update will offer PC users a range of upgrades, from improved HDR support, per-app audio settings, a better Microsoft Game bar and more. Another improvement with update 1803 is reduced system downtime when installing the update itself, making the upgrade process faster.

Microsoft delays the release of Windows 10's Spring Creators Update

While the bug within Microsoft's Windows 10 1803 update is considered rare, the problem is significant enough for the company to hold off the release of Windows 10's latest iteration. It is likely that this bug was discovered by Windows 10 Insiders, who received early access to the update before the public debut of the OS.

Microsoft seems to be in no rush to release this new iteration of Windows 10, which means that it will likely take several weeks for the company to fix and revalidate the OS before its public debut.

I always dislike how it resets all my manual no update and driver tweaks etc, and the old tweaks don't work anymore.Quote

I like how Defender just accused Utorrent of being a virus and tried deleting it.Quote

Depending on the version, uTorrent varies between a security risk and spyware. Lots of private trackers have now banned several versions of it.Quote

Yeah I'm not sure Defender is completely in the wrong there! Quote

FYI you can completely disable defender if you wanted to or you could set that program as safe (maybe not in defender...I honestly don't remember as I don't use it).

Also you can permanently disable updates and the like (atleast the forceable automatic way windows is...or all updates period from even showing up like I have) by using GPEDIT and a few tweaks inside there.

You get GPEDIT (group policy is the other name) in Win10 pro or higher but can also be added into win10 home, just google that
