Microsoft no longer sells the Win64e10 Nintendo 64 emulator on Xbox One, though it is still available on Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, allowing Microsoft users to play Nintendo ROMs by purchasing this new app.

Representatives of Microsoft have stated that the emulator has been taken down from the Xbox One store because it breached certain Windows Store policies, though they did not detail exactly what these policies were. This app is still available for purchase on the Windows 10 store for PC and Mobile, meaning that only Xbox One gamers no longer have access to this application.

Win64e10 is the most advanced N64 emulator for Windows 10. Play your favorite N64 games on your PC, tablet and Windows Phone! You need Windows 10 Mobile to play on your phone.

We all know that Nintendo does not tolerate the misuse of their gaming properties, frequently taking down fan-created remasters, YouTube content and pretty much anything else that has been created without their expressed permission. Right now it looks likely that the application will eventually be removed from the Microsoft store, though for now, it is still available for purchase.

At this time, this paid for emulator is currently for sale in the UK for £7.69 and $9.99 in the US.
