Microsoft has started advertising Windows 10 to Windows 7 and 8.1 Users on their notifications tray. Will you be reserving your upgrade to Windows 10?

This comes mere days after the prices for Windows 10 Home and Pro were leaked by Newegg.com, so perhaps the release of Windows 10 is sooner than was initially expected.

All you need to do is to click on the "reserve your upgrade" button and you system will download Windows 10 as soon as it is available.

The ad urges current Windows 7 and 8.1 users to reserve their upgrade to Windows 10, so that it can download onto your system as soon as it is available. It also says that a 3GB download is required, so make sure that you have a stable internet connection.

Microsoft are also quick to point out that Windows 10 will be very familiar to Windows 7 and 8.1 users and will bring back the Start Menu, a feature which is sorely lacking in Microsoft's Windows 8 without an external application.

Microsoft also are advertising Windows 10's new features, like Cortana, their new Edge browser and the Microsoft app store. Alongside these features Windows 10 will also support DirectX 12, which in no doubt a more important feature for us gamers.

Windows 10 is coming, so if you want to be one of the first in line once it goes live later this year you better sign up for your free upgrade now to get the download instantly.

Once the new operating system launches, you can be certain that we have a lot of testing planned for the new operating system, so you can see if it benefits you in terms of performance.
