Monster Hunter World’s next update will address PC’s texture issues and add “HDR mode”

Monster Hunter: World’s PC version will receive its third title update on October 30th, adding the “Kulve Taroth Siege” to the game for the first time. This content will be a limited-time siege that will be available between November 2nd and November 15th, but this isn’t where the patch notes end.

Monster Hunter World’s October 30th update will add “HDR Mode” to Monster Hunter World’s PC version, as well as adjustments to the game’s keyboard/mouse controls. Better still, this update will fix Monster Hunter: World’s Texture bug, which addresses the game’s use of low-resolution textures on characters and during cutscenes, a bug which has been present within the game since its release in August.

Before this update, Monster Hunter: World’s HDR mode was console exclusive, and the game’s highest texture resolutions were only fully usable within the game’s Xbox One X version. On October 30th, Monster Hunter World’s PC version will finally become the definitive version of the game, assuming desire steady 60+FPS framerates.
